Data controller

Jorge Bustos Martínez is responsible for the processing carried out by hueandcode.com. Contact address supplied: C/ Aragón, 03600 Elda, Alicante. Email: coloresderal@gmail.com.

Data and purposes

The catalogue does not currently include Google Analytics, Google AdSense scripts, contact forms, newsletters or user accounts. Fonts and product images are served from our own server.

Legal bases

Website availability and security rely on the legitimate interest in maintaining a functioning service and preventing abuse, under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. General enquiries are handled on the basis of the legitimate interest in managing communications. Measures requested before entering into a contract, where applicable, rely on Article 6(1)(b); legal obligations and requests to exercise data protection rights rely on Article 6(1)(c).

You do not need to email us to use the catalogue. However, without information necessary to handle an enquiry, we may be unable to respond. The catalogue does not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on visitors.

Service providers and recipients

Information may be disclosed to authorities where legally required. We do not sell your colour lists.

Amazon and external links

Product images are hosted locally and simply visiting a page does not load Amazon scripts. When you open an affiliate link, Amazon receives the connection request and the affiliate identifier. The external platform is responsible for its own processing, including cookies and purchase attribution. We do not receive your personal order or payment details; affiliate reports may show attributed sales and commissions. Consult the privacy notice of the Amazon store you visit.

Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some providers may process data outside the EEA. Applicable safeguards depend on the service and recipient. Google describes adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses in its data transfer information. See the provider notices linked above, or contact us about processing carried out by this website.

Retention

Your rights

Where the law provides, you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact coloresderal@gmail.com. Additional identification will be requested only when necessary. Requests are generally answered within one month, subject to extensions allowed by law.

You may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) or another competent supervisory authority, including the authority in your EU country of habitual residence. See also cookies and session storage.

Simulator: saving, sharing and downloading

The simulator runs in your browser. It does not ask for an account, a photograph or your home address. When you select “Save”, your chosen name and the colour codes for the seven surfaces are stored in localStorage under the key hueandcode-rooms-v1. You can save up to twenty colour schemes. The website code does not send these schemes to the server or use them for advertising tracking.

Saved schemes stay in this browser and on this device until you delete them or clear the website data. They are not synchronised across devices, browsers or domains. Avoid including personal information in a scheme name, particularly on a shared device.

A shared link contains colour codes in the part after the # character, without the scheme name. That part is not sent to the server in the HTTP request, but anyone with the link can open the combination. A colour selected from a catalogue page may also appear in the base query parameter of the address and therefore in technical logs.

The PNG image is created in your browser and offered as a download. It may include the scheme name if you entered one. The website does not send the image to the server: you choose where to store or share the file. The copy-link button uses your device’s clipboard when your browser permits it.
